Die Zahnarztpraxis “Dr. Popovic” wurde im Oktober 1987 von Dr. Dragoslav Popovic gegründet und sie ist seit Juni 2007 auf den Sohn des Gründers Dr. Nemanja Popovic, Magister der Wissenschaften an der Abteilung für Oralchirurgie registriert. Bei dieser Gelegenheit wurde die Praxis rundum erneuert und erweitert und somit ist sie vollständig ausgestattet mit drei Behandlungseinheiten.
Im Rahmen der Zahnarztpraxis “Dr. Popovic” gibt es drei separate voll ausgestattete Zahnarztpraxen, zusammen mit Warteraum mit Empfangspult und Hilfsräume, alles auf einer Fläche von 70 Quadratmetern. Die Räumlichkeiten befinden sich in einem privaten Einfamilienhaus.
In den zweieinhalb Jahrzehnten ihres Bestehens hat die Zahnarztpraxis eine große Anzahl von Patienten aller Altersgruppen und in allen Bereichen der zahnärztlichen Leistungen behandelt. Seit ihrer Gründung und bis heute ist die Zahnarztpraxis spezialisiert auf alle Familienmitglieder, was sie durch erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit mit renommierten Experten der Fakultät für Zahnheilkunde, Universität Belgrad, erreicht, womit sie in der Lage ist Dienstleistungen aus allen Bereichen der Zahnheilkunde anzubieten.

The Hard Facts: I travelled over to Belgrade from Germany and stayed for 2 weeks in September 2018. I received 12 crowns and an 8 tooth bridge. 7 root canals with 2 posts. My accommodation was paid for and I was picked up from the airport. While there, the dentists were in constant contact via watsapp to check on me and answer any questions I may have. They even helped me make other appointments (to get my nails done for instance). They are a lovely group of people who provide personalised service in a small family practice. The prices are extremely competitive and they really go above and beyond to carry out your treatment to a tight timeframe. if you would like to contact me to get more info then you are welcome to. The Long Review: Where do I begin with my review of this lovely little gem of a dental office.. From the moment I contacted the clinic (amongst almost 20 others in Serbia and the Ukraine) I felt really at ease with Dr Popovic. He contacted me quickly and was happy to answer questions and offer suggestions. I made my decision to go with this place pretty quickly after speaking to Dr Nemanja Popovic, mostly because of his easy manner and the timeframe he offered which fitted perfectly with my requirements. Once I arrived in Belgrade, I was picked up from the airport and I quickly fell in love with the city. Its a really beautiful and interesting place that feels incredibly safe. Which, as a woman travelling alone, was really important and made my trip a real breeze. Apartments and hotels are lovely and really kept to a high standard. The place I rented was beautiful and only a 20 minute walk from the practice, in a lovely part of the city. The people in Belgrade were also just so warm and friendly. And my god the food! It was so good and (most importantly) cheap! The Dental practice itself is small and not flashy. Honestly, at first – and half way through the treatment – this caused me a little bit of concern. I was able to address these concerns with the Dr however, and honestly the familiarity and personalised care that the practice provide, suited me more than an official, snazzy hands-off office would. In terms of treatment, it was not Dr Popvic that carried mine out as I didnt receive dental implants and he is a surgeon. It was mainly the wonderful and capable Dr Ivana Stamenic who handled my treatment, along with the straight-talking Dr Maja Manojlovic who carried out my 7 root canals (!) Dr Ivana is a young dentist who can do pretty much everything! She is very confident and genuinely seems to care about your well-being and (for me incredibly important) aesthetics. She has a great eye and was extremely helpful to me in figuring out what changes to make in order for my crowns and bridge to look good. She was also just so hard-working and dedicated throughout my treatment, I cannot praise her enough. Dr Popvic was also wonderful. He is very easy to get along with and was always available to ask questions of, or to offer advice and just generally around during treatment to smooth things over as he has a such an easy and clear manner, so helpful when you are in a foreign country and everyone is speaking a different language. Dr Ivana was capable and hard-working, and even came in on her day off at the drop of a phonecall as I was in pain. A really dedicated team who work incredibly hard and offer flexible and personalised treatment with patience and personality to boot.

There’s a lot of options in Belgrade, I have tried a few but this clinic was the most honest staff you can find. I went there for a second opinion and felt an amazing relief for al the money I was saving. and now, after 6 weeks from my visit can’t be more happy 🙂

I was really impressed with Dental Clinic Dr Popovic immediate response on my queries. They even call me up to schedule an appointment for the following week. This was all done within a span of 3 hours from the first e-mail that I sent. The appointment was very good. Dr Nemanja took his time to explain all the procedure and the estimate cost of my tooth implants. As this is only the preliminary round I am unable to vouch for the surgery and the outcome.
